During this Jubilee Year there will be a national Jubilee walking Pilgrimage of Hope taking place in late August and into September, and converging at Saint Barnabas Cathedral. There will be four routes, blessing our country with a Sign of the Cross, starting at the cathedrals in Cardiff, Leeds, Norwich and Westminster, and arriving at our cathedral on Saturday 13th September, the eve of the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
The Pilgrimage will culminate with Solemn Mass for the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross at 11.15 am on 14th September 2025 at Nottingham Cathedral.
Small groups of perpetual pilgrims will walk the full distance of each Way, with day pilgrims invited to join to walk stages. Registration for day pilgrims will open in April, and as our diocese will see the coming-together of all four Ways there will be plenty of opportunities for participation.
