We work to support those working in local mission, catechists, RE teachers, Young Adults and anyone who wishes to help their local church to go out on mission. We do this by:
Three NEW short courses - from first steps into catechises to taking your parish to the next level.
Creating and sharing high-quality Catholic resources and hosting events for Adults and Young Adults.
Providing training for teachers and local ministers through the Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies.
A number of groups for Young Adults (18-35) exist across the diocese. They meet regularly to receive input, pray, socialise and grow in discipleship.

This course seeks to enable people to take up their ministry with greater confidence. It explores questions of faith, belief, and everyday living as a member of the Catholic Community today, through prayer, shared reflection, group discussion, and study.
The course is for those involved in areas of ministry such as teaching and the various ministries involved in parish life today – catechists, eucharistic ministers, parish pastoral councils, youth work, or justice and peace.
This is a rolling programme and you can join at any module. The Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies is awarded by the Board of Religious Studies on behalf of the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales.
